EU Missions run from Wednesday to Sunday, 4 to 8 December. They are a fantastic way to serve God by helping less resourced churches promote the good news about Jesus to their communities
Come on a mission and make great friendships as you serve on a team; learn new skills; be pushed outside your comfort zone; share the gospel with people who need to hear it; partner with churches all over NSW and beyond; play a small part in God's Mission for the glory of Jesus!
This year, EU will be sending mission teams to:
- Curtin (ACT)
- The Entrance
- Fairfield/ Bossley Park
- Henley and Grange (SA)
- Lanyon Valley (ACT)
- Shoalhaven Heads
Please note that you will need to be available for the whole of the mission, and that you will need to be logged in to register.
Not sure what you're getting yourself into? Find out a little bit more about each mission location below!
Berkeley: An experience amongst urban poor and low income families
Campsie: Ideal for those who have Mandarin speaking skills and want to experience Asia in Australia.
Curtin (ACT): Located toward the centre of Canberra, Curtin is a growing church that wants to keep reaching into the local area. It has attracted many young families and will soon be looking for help in kids ministry. Great if you will already be at NTE
The Entrance: Serving alongside an older congregation who need our physical energy to reach an older community but also central coast culture.
Fairfield/ Bossley Park: Stretch yourself meeting people from Buddhists, Spanish, Catholic and Muslim Backgrounds. A great way to meet a non anglo suburb.
Greenacre: Great training and skills as you meet people from largely Muslim Backgrounds.
Guildford: A suburb of Islanders, Arabs, South East Asian and Africans. Good to meet those from the world here at home.
Henley and Grange (SA) : A more traditional Church in a State where most churches have become casino's restaurants and brothels!
Lanyon Valley (ACT): A well functioning church in a state where there are few options. Great if you are thinking of getting a government graduate placement.
Nyngan: Experience Country NSW. A place that challenges everyone that perhaps the City is not the best place to live.
Rosemeadow: In the South West Corridor, experience what it's like to minister among the working class.
Shoalhaven Heads: By the beach but spiritually dry. Great if you want to experience doing ministry in a place easy to live but hard to do ministry.
