Engineering

EU Engineers are set apart because of their commitment, creativity, and of course their awesome skills. In a faculty where the main food group is "BBQ" and the best kind of "free" is beer (speech doesn't come close), it's cool to find a bunch of guys and girls who want to use their heads, hearts and hands for good, not for evil.

We do it because we love the Lord Jesus, who is better than the best king you can imagine.

Small groups

Small Group Times (semester 1, 2010)

First year small group times:

  • Thursday 9am
  • Thursday 1pm
  • Friday 1pm

Senior small group times:

  • Monday 1pm
  • Wednesday 1pm
  • Thursday 12pm

Small Group bible studies are groups of usually 8 to 12 students meeting to read and discuss God's Word, the Bible, together each week.  We'd love you to join a small group - If you'd like to be in one and aren't already, please contact Megan or Brian (details at the top of the page).  Or, see what small group times suit you, and just come along to visit!

The first-year small groups have a study series on the Kingdom of God and the Lordship of Christ. The senior small groups will have their own studies written by the staff workers of the EU.

All our small group times for this semester are available in the box on the right. If you'd like to be part of a small group and don't know where it is, please shoot Megan or Brian an email, or send Brian a message (0415 855 146).

Courtyard

Courtyard is a space to chill, relax, find some other heads and to share some thoughts. Officially starting on Wednesday of week 2, come to the courtyard outside Parma cafe (above SciTech library) at 12pm and share your thoughts on something meaningful.

There's no pressure here, but it's a good place to ask questions. This is a place where we can find out what you think and you have the time to work it out if you don't know. We don't always know what we think about everything either - but there are some things we definitely know, and they're better than anyone could imagine up in their head because they come from God.

Footsteps

Footsteps is the name of EU Engineering's new peer support program, designed to help anyone at any stage settle into university life, the EU community, and get some general advice and support from someone with just a little bit more experience.

If you'd like to join up or find out more, use our ask anything form.

Prayer

God's not only big enough to hear your prayers, he's big enough to answer them too. Therefore pray! We'll be trying to provide support and suggestions to help you to pray by yourself and with others, but if you would like some more specific help, please ask us.

Join the prayer network in the union by grabbing three friends and forming a Prayer Quad. Find a time to meet and pray together, and encourage one another with prayer points.

Can't find friends to pray with? Send an email to the faculty leaders and we'll help you out.
