Sydney Uni Evangelical Union - Ag Vet

Welcome to the domain of Vets and Aggers! If you want any more information about who we are or what we're on about, please email us. We'd love to hear from you!

Our vision:

To be a prayerful and visible community of Christians marked by love, who are joyfully committed to sharing the gospel, being built up in Christ and serving in ministry, as we prepare for a lifetime in God's harvest field.

We hope you can join us to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord of the Universe, The Sydney Uni Campus, and all the Ag and Vet students there!

 

 

Small Groups

Small groups are great times where we come together to read the bible, encourage each other and pray for one another.

First year small groups have now started! Moo! The times of these groups are:

Monday 1pm

- Meet outside the Veterinary Science Conference Centre (VSCC)

Tuesday 1pm

- Meet outside the VSCC

 

Senior small groups have also started - these are for 2nd years and above and the times are:

Monday 1pm

- Meet outside the VSCC

Wednesday 12pm

- Meet in Education Building Foyer

 

 

Prayer

Prayer is such an important part of being a Christian and AgVet has a vision of being a more prayerful faculty. Prayer brekkies are held twice a semester and we have weekly prayer points updated on our AgVet Facebook group! (How cool are we, for using Facebook? =P) Another great thing to do is to come along to the whole EU prayer meetings on Tuesday morning or Wednesday arvo- There are a flock of AgVetters already herding towards the Tuesday meeting (8:30 at the top of Manning), so come along with us!

 

The AgVet Weekend Away

See photos on the left for a taste of the AgVet Weekend Away 2007. It is a fantastic time spent as an AgVet community encouraging and serving each other, hearing challenging talks from the bible and doing lots of fun and crazy things! Mark the 2nd - 4th May 2008 down in your diaries as the date for this year's weekend away, and stay tuned for more details - you won't want to miss it!
