who are we?

ACES is a faculty of the Sydney University Evangelical Union (EU)

We are a group of Christians who seek to reach out to the Australian Asians at Sydney University with the great news that Jesus Christ is Lord.

The ACES vision

Our vision is:

To be a community of Bible-centred students, living under the Lordship of Christ, filled with a desire to use our Australian-Asian identity to:

  1. love and serve God
  2. reach out to His World
  3. flood God's church with mature Christians

What do we do?

Weekly meetings and Bible studies.

Last year in table groups we looked at the Gospel of Mark and what it meant to be living in God's Kingdom on campus with Jesus Christ as Lord.

Socials

Because we can't get enough of each other during the uni semester we have socials that usually involve alot of food, games, music and fellowship.

Prayer Bears

We meet up, usually weekly, in groups of two or three, to pray for each other.

Weekend away with the Economics Faculty

Last year we had our combined ACES/Economics Weekend Away at Wanawong Lodge in Loftus. Mike Kwan gave the talks from Ezekial on 'Hope in a Hopeless World'

The feeling about the weekend was unanimous...

Even Guy enjoyed it...

... and more socials

fun!

So who can join?

Absolutely anybody!

...and those who share in the ACES vision.

We'd love to meet you so come along to our meetings.
