Courses available in Semester 1, 2009

Leading People to Christ (LPC)

This foundational Course aims to help Christians to be more effective in leading their friends to Christ with integrity, courage and Biblical faithfulness. It will not only give you something to say but develop a framework for answering questions, raising the Christian faith naturally and praying about your friends. LPC is a great place to begin the Equip course program.

Advanced Pastoral Care (APC)

This course will allow you to develop an understanding of the fundamentals of Christian ministry and to examine the pastoral implications. It will also allow you to develop skills that will help you to pastor those to whom you serve on campus and in your churches.

Leadership

Designed to explore the ever relevant and dynamic topic of Christian leadership. This course attempts to define leadership principally in terms of Biblical foundations, which is useful for applying a Biblically-shaped understanding to personal experiences of leadership. This course will help Christians grow in their leadership roles.

Engaging the World (LPC+)

Engaging the World is a course that builds on LPC. Its aim is to build students in their confidence to lead their friends to Christ. It will help to grow apologetic skills and equip people to better communicate the gospel. It will also focus on how to engage with our wider society to see many people come to know Jesus as Lord. This course is especially designed for students in later years.
