What other people had to say about AnCon 2011

"AnCon is like going to your favourite restaurant and eating the world's best chocolate cake. It's full of rich goodness, you can't stop talking about it while you are there and years later you look back and vividly remember the experience. Ancon's like that, only better as instead of feeding your body, you're feeding your soul."

Lizzie Padgett, Education III

"For me, AnCon was like learning to drive. Scary at first, but as you start to experience the love from your soon-to-be friends, and receive teachings which give direction, you start to feel encouraged and it actually becomes fun and exciting!"

Beth Kings, Science II

Waiting for the World to end?

What does the future hold for you, for our communities and for the planet? Where is everything heading and how will things end? Tsunami? Environmental Meltdown? Godzilla?

Where does Jesus and the church fit in to those plans? Is there eternal life? Is Heaven and Hell real? What will the new heavens and earth look like?  What hope is there for us and for the world? What do we do while we wait for the world to end?

At AnCon 2012 we will spend a week digging into the Bible and looking to the future to see what Christians believe about what will come next. The week will paint a picture of the incredible future found in Jesus and show us how that future shapes our present reality. What we believe about life after death affects our life now; work, money, politics, social justice and relationships. We will go home from AnCon 2012 changed and transformed for serving the world with great hope for the future.
